April 1, 2010

I am so ready for the weekend to get here! Tomorrow night, Bella is staying at Grandma’s. She hasn’t seen her in almost a week because Grandma was out of town, so all 3 of them are excited to hang out tomorrow night. That frees up Eric & my night, so we’re going to the Alamo Draft House to watch “Clash of the Titans”. We’ve decided to watch it on 2D instead of 3D, because the 3D showing was either at 7 p.m. (when Eric is getting home) or 10 p.m. (1 a.m. seems to be a tad to late for me to stay up!) so we choose to go the old fashioned 2D showing at 7:30 p.m. I love going to the Draft House because their food is good, and I can have a glass or two of wine during the movie. Perfection!

Saturday morning all the girls are meeting at Z Tejas for Stephanie’s baby shower/day of pampering. Vicky & the girls decided to do something a little different for her shower and have it Austin style! So we’re all meeting for brunch (hoping they serve mimosas! Ha!) and then heading over to get manicures & pedicures. I am so excited, because my feet are begging for a pedi! I’ve been wearing flip flops for the last 2 weeks in this 80 degree weather and they look terrible. I refused to paint them when I have a pedi coming up so soon. So after Saturday they will be all pretty & presentable again.

Saturday night, Eric, Bella, & I are heading to church. We decided to go to the Saturday night service for Easter because Bella does a lot better in the evenings than 1st thing in the mornings. This way also we’re not rushing through the Easter Egg Hunting that the Easter Bunny left Bella. She can take her sweet time and enjoy every second of it! After the hunt Easter morning, I plan on making a big breakfast and taking pictures in the bluebonnets of Bella in her Easter dress. We’ve never taken any in bluebonnets before, so I hope she is okay sitting in them! Finally that afternoon we are heading to Grandma & Grandpa’s house to celebrate with all of Eric’s family. They always bbq fajitas for Easter and give Bella a mini Easter Egg Hunt at their house as well. She will have TONS of candy by the time Easter ends, & I will hopefully have TONS of beautiful pictures of her enjoying it!

From the Muñoz Family to yours…
Happy Easter!
May you have a blessed day!
