My Poor Puggy

November 17, 2010

My little pug Roxie has had a rough day.  We thought she had a urinary tract infection, but even with antibiotics, she wasn't getting any better so we took her back to the Vet, and found out she has 4 marble sized stones in her bladder blocking the bladder almost entirely!  I was shocked and saddened at the news, but knew that no matter what, we'd get the surgery & get her all better.  She is scheduled for surgery at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.  Eric will be taking her to the vet in the morning and I will be on pins & needles all day until we hear she is okay!

I know she is a dog, but if you know me, you know she is not just part of my family, but one of my children.  We've had her since she was 6 weeks old & now she's 6 1/2!  We love her & Tuggy so much & cannot imagine our lives without either of them.  I will update when I hear anything tomorrow.

Update on 11/18/10:  Rox has gone through surgery and is doing great! She is resting & Eric's parents (God Bless Them!!) are picking her up and taking her to our house to rest and recoup.   Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes!
