In less than 4 weeks I will be running my 1st Mud Run! It's back in my home town & I'll be running it with one of my besties & an awesome group of girls! We're participating in the Dirty Girl Mud Run!! 
 
To say I'm not a runner would be an understatement. I have always hated running. The Hubs has ran a 1/2 marathon last year & runs almost daily. Me?! Well I'd rather do Insanity to get my workout in. But at last I have started training.
 
I run 3x a week usually, then follow it up with crunches, squats, arm dips, & push ups. I'm slowly getting used to running although I notice my asthma is much worse in the heat & humidity lately. (Shocking I know!) I'm bound and determined to kick this mud run's ace & have fun doing it! So no more Mexican food... wait, let's be real, maybe just once a week and not almost daily! I'm doing good sticking to salads at lunch & eating lighter at dinner, so hopefully that will help! I'll update everyone after the race on Oct. 6th! Pray for me, because I'm pretty sure I'll need it!!
