Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

I cannot get enough of the casseroles lately! My family loves them as much as I do thank goodness! This recipe I got from EatatAliies, & it instantly became our FAVORITE casserole to date! It's so delicious I can't even describe it! It's a must try recipe! (I did change a few little things on the recipe, so click on the above link for the original!)

Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Cooked and shredded chicken thighs 
8 oz. sour cream 
Garlic Salt for taste
14 Flour Tortillas
28 oz. Can of Green Chile Enchilada Sauce
16 oz. Mexican Blend shredded cheese
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2) Combine the cooked shredded chicken with the sour cream & garlic salt.
3) Set aside.
4) Pour about 1/2 of can of enchilada sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
5) Place 4-5 tortillas on top of the sauce in a single layer.
6) Top with 1/2 of the chicken mixture.
7) Sprinkle with 1/3 of the Mexican blend cheese.
8) Our 1/3 of the remaining enchilada sauce over the cheese.
9) Repeat layers.
10) Sprinkle remaining cheese and any enchilada sauce left on the very top.
11) Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
12) Remove the foil the last 5 minutes of baking.
13) Enjoy!
