1st Work Out Review

Remember how I said I was gonna take it easy on my 1st workout and just get on the bike?! Yeah that went out the window when I got to the gym. Damn me, it was like coming home. I went straight to the weights and decided I could do the same weight on the machines I did 6 weeks ago! Not so much, but I tried! 
So let's be honest here, I did about 20 minutes of weights until my throat started swelling letting me know I need to stop or die trying. I chose option A. 
I filled up my water bottle for the 2nd time and went to the bike. I usually go around an 8 out of 10 in resistance for about 30 minutes or so. (Usually 6-7 miles) I was already on my death bed, so I decided to take it a little easy and go on a 6 resistance. I made it 6.5 miles in 30 minutes and gave up. I was only gonna go for 5 miles, but once I hit that I thought I could do a wee bit more. Wee bit is right, a whole mile and a half more and I was dunzo for the day. I finished by stretching & having a protein shake once I got home. 
Today is day 1 after working out... here are my thoughts:
1) I can't walk. It hurts to sit down, stand up, and going up my staircase at home is about the most painful thing I can think of. 
2) I am extremely proud of myself that I pushed so hard. You really can do anything you put your mind to. 
3) I honestly can't wait to go back Tuesday for round 2!
And The Hubs and I are starting to "eat clean". No processed foods, only whole grains, chicken, fish, fruits, & veggies... Lord help me! I truly am excited to try and loose weight through the holidays instead of gain it like I usually do! 
I'll keep everyone updated as we go on. Next week we plan on getting a juicer & start juicing for breakfasts!
