Since I'm now pushing close to my mid-30's (ouch!) I'm learning a lot. And by a lot I mean I'm learning that my body isn't as awesome as it was in my 20's. I may work out a hell of a lot more than I ever did back then, but here's 2 things I've learned lately about myself.
Holy hell hangovers suck.
I never really got them too badly in my 20's but my 30's they like to roar their ugly head any time I have more than a few beers in one sitting.
It keeps me from drinking anywhere near what I used to, but when I decide to try and party like a rockstar, my body likes to remind me heavily the next morning that I'm an idiot.
This is pure BS!
I run a lot and it still hurts A LOT!!
I get weird pains all over my arms, legs, back, etc. even on days I don't get a run in.
I've been saying lately I rarely ever get sick, but man do I get hurt all the damn time!
Hello old as hell body... you suck!
