As we close out 2014 tonight and celebrate the beginning of 2015, I will look back on this year fondly. It wasn't the easiest or best year for our family, but overall we enjoyed it!
Last year my main resolution was to loose weight and get in shape. I'm so happy to report that I stuck to it all year. I've lost most of the weight I wanted to, and still run 3 - 4 times a week plus weights.
We went on some amazing vacations this year, and can't wait to go on more this coming year! (NY and Vegas here we come!)
Our house is finally coming together (only took 5 years!) and starting to look the way we imagined it would when we bought it. Now to replace the 1st story floors next year.
We lost some loved ones and miss them terribly, but know they're in a better place with no pain.
Overall a wonderful year....
Looking forward to 2015!!
Bring It On!!
(NYE pics will be posted soon! Have a safe and happy New Years!)

Wow what a long week we had! Luckily I was home the whole week and was able to get runs in almost daily & spend tons of time with my little girl while The Hubs was at work.
We actually ended up spending hours on Christmas Eve baking all different types of cookies to take to the family. Although tedious, we really had fun and I told her I'm gonna make her do this with me every year because I'm that
mean awesome of a mom!
We met The Hubs at church for Christmas Eve service & our Church really put on an amazing service! We actually made it through the whole service without leaving which was a miracle in itself!
They even had it snowing inside the church during service!
Afterwards we headed to my in-law's house to celebrate with delicious food, great gifts, and ended up having a blast playing games until we tired ourselves out.
Mommy & Bella Belle right before we left for service.
She even let me curl her hair.
Another Christmas miracle!
A little blurry but best pic we could get. Shocking for us!
Christmas morning Santa delivered in a big way. PS4, Rip stick, and tons of toys and games. She was in Heaven and we were so excited to watch her open them.
Momma & Daddy also did well getting her a 3DS to play.
Afterwards we headed home to celebrate Christmas day with my family. My sister, nephew, & I went to visit my mom before dinner & wish her a Merry Christmas. Dinner was delicious and we had an amazing time (I totally forgot to take pictures there... I suck sometimes!)
Overall a great and wonderful Christmas.
Now it's back to the grind for a few days until New Year's Eve!

Every girl has a wish list she wants for Christmas.
And I'm no exception.
I set up an Amazon Wish List for family to easily find things I want, but for The Hubs I make it a little harder.
Luckily he catches on easily...
Handbag - Every year I ask for a new cute handbag. Usually it's a Coach bag, but not this year my friends, no no, it's a Kate Spade! And bonus it's on sale!
Nume Curling Wand - In the youtube beauty guru world, Nume is the best curling wand around. So of course I wanted one! I don't curl my hair often because it falls by the end of the night, but I'm hoping this will fix that. 2013 beach waves here I come!
Melissa Button Boot - Holy goodness I love these boots. I have them in brown and wear them an insane amount. Like literally daily. It's kinda sad, but I'm in love with them, and now want them in black. Yup just call me spoiled!

15 years ago I met Eric. Seems crazy since we're only 33, but we met freshman year of college.
We met by mutual friends at a bar on 6th street. (Stay classy!)
I've said it before but we really have been through so much together.
He was there for me when my mom passed and he stayed the year and a half afterward when I didn't want to get out of bed every day.
We've moved multiple times to multiples places, even back to my hometown, which only last a little over a year because we both missed Austin too much.
But more than anything, we have created a wonderful life together and a beautiful, smart, amazing little girl who is the light of our lives.
I'm so glad I got to spend the last 15 years together and can't wait to spend many many more.

As I sit here with my family watching the Cowboys kick some Eagles butt, I realize I am extremely exhausted. This weekend did me in!
Friday night we went to The Hub's soccer game. They all played so well and won 5 - 4! Afterwards we had our favorite pizza from Local Slice in Cedar Park. We always get their large white pizza and it's amazing! Afterwards we enjoyed a glass of wine and caught up on our shows. That was the only relaxation I got all weekend...
Saturday I woke up at 7 a.m. and went for a run. I finished 2.5 miles and smelled someone cooking bacon near my house and had to head home! After going to the adorable Hudson's 1st birthday party, we went to the Christmas Festival put on by the YMCA.
It was in the high 70's so the "snow" they had quickly melted! We had fun riding a few carnival rides, then headed home. Saturday night we went across the street and celebrated Kellie's birthday until way to late in the night! (Or early morning!)
Sunday we went to our 3rd birthday party of the weekend and celebrated Eve & Ethan's 7th birthday roller skating style! Bella actually ended up catching on and doing pretty well. Granted she'll have quite a few bruises on her booty tomorrow!
I finished the day out by wrapping an insane amount of Christmas gifts, then cooking dinner. And that brings us to now. Relaxing and watching my beloved Cowboys!

With Christmas right around the corner (2 weeks wow!!) I thought this might be the perfect opportunity to give some ideas for stocking stuffers. Mainly for ladies of course because these are some things I either already own and love or really really want. (hint hint Eric), plus they are all pretty cheap! Score!
Winter Hat - Every girl needs a cute winter hat. Not just to look adorable but also to keep your head and ears all warm and cozy. I think this one is adorable and it's only $13!
Too Faced Eyeshadow Primer - I mentioned this in a previous post and still am madly in love with this primer. They come in different colors and work like a charm. Plus it's only $20!
Scarf - Every girl loves a great scarf, especially warm infinity scarves. This one is adorable and on sale for $14 now. Perfect for a stocking stuffer.
Wristlet - My need for a wristlet is getting desperate at this point. When we went to the wedding Saturday I had to carry an old way to dressy small handbag because I don't have a cute wristlet. I love the one above because it's gold and sparkly. 2 of my favorite things & it's $20!
Necklace - What girl doesn't love a beautiful necklace for the holidays? The tassle necklace above is adorable and only $50. Which may be expensive for a stocking stuffer, but not if she's special. Ha!

It's Sunday evening and I'm exhausted! This weekend flew by quickly, was jammed packed, & we loved it! Let's start with Saturday morning...
Eric had his big certification test and was extremely nervous about it. So I took Bella to her friend's birthday party at Gattiland while he studied and went to take the test.
He texted me once he finished showing me he passed!!
Way to go Love!
Bella and I are so proud of you!
Once he got home, we left for his close friend's wedding reception.
It was a beautiful reception and we had the best time catching up with old friends.
Eric, Chris (groom), Steve, & Travis
These guys above grew up together and have remained close after all these years.
After the reception ended we headed over to my sister-in-law's house for an ugly sweater Christmas party.
Sandra, Lisa, Sonia, & me
We had so much fun catching up with them & playing crazy games.
It ended up being a late late night, but we had the best time.
Sunday we bought our 1st REAL Christmas tree!
We've always had a beautiful 10 ft. artificial tree since we bought our house, but with the new couches, there wasn't any room for it, so we decided to buy a real one and put it in the front room...
We really had fun trying to get it set up & not getting sap all over us in the process!
Bella had a meltdown 1/2 way through (it happens a lot lately... grr)
After she was able to calm down she came back downstairs and helped put the angel on the tree.
The Hubs and Bella have always put our angel and I was so glad she was able to do it again this year.
Now we're grilling pork chops and asparagus and watching football.
Exhausted and happy... it's a wonderful weekend.

This is definitely the time of the year for different drugstore brand makeup to put out as much new makeup as possible...
My favorite time of the year!
Here's some of the newer mascaras I found.
Lashblast Full Bloom Mascara - I saw this on EleventhGorgeous youtube post and can't wait to try it! I love any and all Covergirl mascaras especially the Lashblast! And it comes in waterproof! Score!
Loreal Butterfly Intenza Mascara - I actually tried this one already and liked it but not loved it. It separated well, and made my lashes longer, but no volume & I'm a volume mascara girl. It also comes in waterproof thank goodness!
Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin Curves - This one looks interesting. I've honestly never tried Rimmel mascaras, but might have to try this one soon. The brush looks really cool & it's supposed to grab and show off the little hard to reach lashes. We shall see!
Woo-Hoo I'm finally back to blogging! Yay!
This weekend was a great time catching up with both families.
Thanksgiving morning we headed to Dallas to see my family. We had a great Thanksgiving and lots of laughs all around like we usually do.
Friday we took Bella to see Big Hero 6 at the movie theater & she loved it!
It was at Movie Studio Grill & Bella loved having a pizza and lemonade during her movie.
Also the movie was super cute! We all 3 loved it & now Bella's asking Santa for a Baymax toy!
We came home after breakfast Saturday morning & celebrated Thanksgiving with Eric's family.
It was also so much fun & the guys and kids played football after dinner while we cleaned & then relaxed.
Sunday we headed to a new store called At Home and bought a ton of outdoor Christmas decorations. On the way to Cedar Park we drove by these...
It's officially Christmas in Austin!
We finished the weekend decorating the outside of our casa, then having homemade Taco Soup. Yummy!
Stay tuned this week for our Christmas card reveal!
