Today is Halloween and one of my favorite holidays.
I love seeing kids dressed up, handing out tons of sugar high inducing candy, and letting the kids run wild after too much trick or treating/candy binging.
This year Bella is going as a pirate princess.
This will literally be the 1st Halloween costume she's ever worn that's a DRESS.
How the heck did I talk her into that?!
Well seeing as we spent an ungodly amount for her to be a "Pirate of the Caribbean" pirate princess on the Disney Cruise, we told her she has to dress up as it again for Halloween!
Score one for Momma!
Cutest mean pirate princess in history right there people!
I might even get into the pirate spirit and wear my pirate garb from the cruise as well...
So have a happy & SAFE Halloween!!
And for your enjoyment here's a throwback picture from Halloween 2009.
Bella was 2 years old and we were youngins as well!
Man I look terrible with really dark hair!

Few things to catch up on in our house...
1) Bella's 2nd Grade Picture
Goodness where did this beautiful girl come from?!
She's always been absolutely beautiful inside and out, but when did she get so big?
How is she in 2nd grade already??
Love that darn kid so much it makes my heart hurt.
Tomorrow is finally Halloween and we've got way too much planned. Bella was invited to a pre-trick or treating party by one of her friends we're going to go to, then trick or treating with all the kiddos in our neighborhood, followed by the parents sitting out letting the kids wear off their sugar highs, while handing out more candy & relaxing! Whew!!
Bella's last flag football game(s) are Saturday. It's the playoffs so if they win, they play for the Super Bowl and if they loose their out... we'll see how it goes!
The Longhorns play rivals Texas Tech this weekend in Lubbock and it's going to be a damn good game! Both teams pretty much suck this year, but the hatred they have for each other will make for a perfect Saturday evening football game! Hook 'Em Horns!
4) Fall Weather
I think we're finally starting to get Fall weather here in Austin! Woo-hoo!!
Lately we've been in the high 80's/low 90's and it sucks!!
We had a cool front come in yesterday and the high for this weekend is mid-70's!!

This weekend was so much fun for our whole family.
Saturday morning Bella had her last regular season flag football game.
Eventhough they lost (again) they played so well and fought so hard, we were all proud of them!
Saturday afternoon we went the the YMCA Halloween Festival at the Dell Diamond.
Other than being unbelivably hot, it was such a great fun family time!
Bella had a blast!
She climbed walls...
Bounced on these crazy things and figured out how to do back flips on it!
Scary for momma, fun for her!
Saturday night we took it easy and went to eat after the festival, then home to watch shows and relax.
I think we were all asleep by 9!
Sunday we celebrated my SIL, Sandra's upcoming baby!
Baby Reyes is due in Jan and we can't wait to meet him/her!
My MIL, SIL, & me
These girls are amazing people and we have the best time when we all get together!
We had it at Z Tejas in Avery Ranch and it was delicious!

It hit me this morning that I'm about to start planning my little girl's 8th birthday party. 8!!
Where the heck did the time go?!
I feel like she's growing up way too fast and there's no way to slow it down.
She's in 2nd grade, learning math, English, how to tell time, and science and the precious few hours I get in the evenings with her I cherish.
This beautiful little girl loves playing football, wall ball, riding her electric scooter, and making people laugh.
She's my goofball (just like her Daddy!) and she owns my heart.
We get asked on a daily basis if or when we're having more kids.
Here's the honest truth... we always wanted 2 kids. Always planned for 2 kids.
Until she came & became all we needed.
We're so unbelievably happy just being her parents.
I'm all for big families and people that have multiple kids, but for us, she was all we needed.
Don't get me wrong, that girl knows how to push our buttons.
She can talk back like I've never seen before, and she usually does when she's mad.
She also climbs on my chair with me every night after bath to snuggle for a few minutes before bed.
We read books together, do math problems, etc. and I love every second we get to have.
Before long she'll be forgetting all about us and hanging out with her friends all day/night.
But until then, she's our little girl and we are insanely proud of her.

I'm gonna start right off and tell you I paid for my Samsung Note 4 out of my own pocket. This is not a compensated review at all.
Okay now that that's out of the way let's proceed...
I got my Note 4 last Thursday. I had to go to 3 stores to find the white one, cause I'm picky like that.
My last 3 phones before this were all IPhones and I was a diehard IPhone fan for like ever.
Here's the thing, my IPhones kept going to crap right around the time the new cool IPhones would come out... weird how that works!!
So after 3 of them crapping out on me I decided to switch to a different phone. The Hubs has the Note 3 and LOVES it. The picture quality on his phone is amazeballs, so I thought let's try the new and improved version and one up him on the phone front!
Let me tell you, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Note 4!
Yes it's much different and more tricky to figure out than an IPhone, but wow is it worth it!
My phone is insanely faster than my old IPhone 5, the images on the screen are bold and so beautiful as are the pictures I take.
I was able to get all my contacts moved over & my music from ITunes. But I decided to start from scratch on my apps. I've found every app I need on the Play Store and it downloads in seconds!
So this is the question I've got from everyone... Is it too big?!
Not for me. I carry a handbag, and it fits just fine in there. The Hubs says it fits in his pocket no problem. It's super thin and pretty lightweight which helps. I also don't need a case for it due to the back being a leather like feel. It doesn't slide out of my hand easily.
Now I'm no techie so I won't go into details all that type of stuff, but I will say I am in love with this phone and so glad I switched!

This was definitely a fun family weekend in our house.
Saturday morning Bella had a flag football game so we geared up and watched her play her little heart out!
I was able to take the coolest pictures of her in action!
The look of determination on her face is priceless!
After her game we headed to the Plfugerville Chili Pfest where we munched on some delicious chili (obviously!), got airbrush tattoos, and sweated our butts off in 90 degree weather.
We finished the night off by watching the Horns play (AND WIN!!) an awesome football game against Iowa State!
Sunday we headed to Victoria, TX to see Eric's Abuela. It was so nice to catch up with his family & let Bella play with her cousins.
Great family weekend!

Lez be honest, I haven't gone for a run in over 2 weeks.
Well I ran twice before vacay, then went to Vegas, walked around 6 miles or more every single day we were there, and had too much to drink & eat whilst enjoying my vacay to the max.
So yeah running/working out went out the window.
I got back and have been either exhausted or crazy ass busy and haven't made it to the gym yet.
That all changes this afternoon!
I brought my workout gear with me today to work so I can change here, get Bella from school, and hit the gym.
I can't wait to get on the treadmill, get 2 miles or so under my belt, then hit the weights.
I can't wait to wake up tomorrow sore and know I did my body some good!
And I can't wait to see the scale go down more and more.
The last 5-10 lbs I want to loose have been the hardest.
Not because they are hard to loose but because I've been slacking.
Now that the weather is nice, that all changes!
I can run outside again, I can hit the gym and leave feeling great.
So here's to the start of working out all Autumn!
What's your workout goals?

When I was in Vegas I went a little crazy over all the Sephora's. Especially the huge one outside The Venetian. They were all amazing & I got to do a little shopping.
Now I'm usually a drugstore makeup girl but if I get the chance I will usually buy some things I just can't find a dupe to. I didn't buy a butt load of makeup, just a few things I've been wanting...
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick - I've been wanting this for years, but the thought of paying $44 for it made me hesitant. I finally gave in and got it and I am in love! It's friggin amazing. I had the Physician's Formula version of it before and it's nothing compared to this. The colors don't run together and it gives you such a glow! (I got the Bronze color)
Beauty Blender - Another thing I've been wanting to try forever. I tried the dupes from the drugstore and they did nothing, but the Beauty Blender is completely different. It makes your foundation look flawless. It's super easy to use and I absolutely love it.
Benefit Instant Brow - For my brows, I've always used a cheap pencil from CVS. I thought there really wasn't a huge difference in that and more expensive ones. I was insanely wrong! This pencil actually fills in my brows and makes them look good, but still real and not penciled in. Plus there's a brow brush on the other side to finish the look off with.
Loreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Mascara - Okay so this one is drugstore but I couldn't find any mascaras I love as much as this one. It seperates and makes my lashes look insanely long! I only buy waterproof mascaras and got it in this one too. Love love love love love.

I feel like it's been about forever since I've actually blogged about my life and family lately.
Let me start by saying we have been insanely busy and crazy in the Munoz Household.
Let's see where to begin... Halloween is upon our house now! I'm a huge fan of Halloween and everything that goes along with it. This weekend we decorated the house and front yard in ghosts and goblins. We even spent our Saturday night carving pumpkins. It's a tradition in our house that we carve 2 pumpkins and then I bake the seeds. I love roasted pumpkin seeds and can eat them forever.
We got back last week from Vegas and let me say that more than 3 days in Vegas seems to be too much for us. Don't get me wrong, we had a freakin blast with the Harrisons and loved it all, but man were we all exhausted and ready to be home! Here's the smartest thing about the whole vacay... we didn't take pics! Sure I took pics from the hotel room of our view, and walking down the strip, but no "crazy, people will see these pics forever and we'll be embarrassed pics". We were at least that smart! Ha! But we had a great time and from now on we will ask The Hubs if he has a dollar. (Inside joke!)
Bella is back playing flag football and doing a pretty good job of it. She plays for the Texans & it's awesome that she's not the only girl on the team! Plus all the kids go to school together and we know the coach. Makes for a much better season!
Overall, we're gearing up for the holidays coming soon & keeping an eye on our Longhorn football team. Hook 'Em Horns!
October 11, 2014
But when I do it's Texas vs OU weekend!!
We might have not looked great the
last few all games, but dammit we will beat OU!!
Hook 'Em Horns!!!
