I realize my daughter isn't a toddler anymore, but until I got her school picture yesterday did I realize just how big she really is now!
Going from the top left where she was in Pre-k through the bottom right in 3rd grade this year, she has grown up so much!
Even after all these years though she still has the exact same beautiful smile and chubby cheeks that I just adore!
I can't wait to keep adding the years to the pictures and look back on this day and think "Wow she was so small and young in 3rd grade!"
Here's to many many more beautiful & fun years ahead!

I did a post on this about 3 years ago and although one of my favorite haven't changed, the rest definitely have!
I am an avid blogger and love reading other people's blogs, my absolute favorite blogs are
She does amazing posts about hair and makeup, plus tips and tricks to get you out the door faster. Here's the amazing thing, she also has her own line of cosmetics!
I've tried quite a few times to get some of her products, but they are so amazing they sell out quickly!
I think what I love most about her is she is down to earth, mom of 2 boys who understands we don't have 45 minutes to get ready every day & works to help you look beautiful fast!
Natalie is a mom of 2 from Charlotte that loves wine as much as I do! Plus she posts fabulous recipes every Wednesday along with clothes she loves that I have a tendency to agree on!
She makes me want to move to the Carolina's with her pictures & I definitely want to visit there soon!
Hazel Hayes is a Irish youtuber that I recently started watching. She is hilarious and my favorite are her Tipsy Talk vlogs. They make me literally laugh out loud whenever I watch any of her videos!
Tati Westbrook is my absolute favorite YouTuber out there. Her videos show different options for all types of makeup and her honest reviews on them. From drugstore to extremely high end ($90 lipstick?!) she says the good and bad points of all of it. My favorite is when she goes into the drugstores and shows what's on sale right now. I usually run out and grab it up! Also, she just teamed up with LOC to make some amazingly beautiful eye shadows & lippies!
Mallory is brand new to YouTube but also is an awesome blogger. She's a former Miss Kentucky & is completely gorgeous inside and out. I love watching her videos because she is so down to earth, Southern girl that I'm used to. She is so funny & really shows easy ways to do makeup.
What are your favorite blogs or YouTubers?
I love finding new ones all the time!

Seeing as it poured rain all weekend long, our weekend was pretty uneventful.
Saturday we watched The Horns kick some butt in the rain and beat Kansas State!
We had friends over Saturday night to have a nice low key dinner & drinks while it poured outside.
There were so many great parties happening, but we were worried about having to drive in the weather so we decided to keep it low key and just hang out.
Sunday morning I was stupid and ran in the cold and rain. It actually wasn't too bad of a run except for being soaking wet by the end of it!
My running shoes are still drying out in our garage!
Sunday night I made the chicken and green chile casserole for dinner & we loved it!
Something nice and yummy for the cold rainy day we were having!
So it's finally here...
Bella has a few Halloween parties lined up this week
and of course the big day Saturday night.
They're calling for MORE rain Saturday, but I'm hoping that will change before then!
Hope everyone has a great Halloween.... Week!

I'm writing you today to let you know just how much you are loved and adored.
I know it seems like your life is getting harder by the day & in some ways it is. School is definitely harder than before with a lot more homework, getting higher in karate means more responsibility & hard work, and overall getting to spend less time playing outside with your friends.
What I want you to know is that even though it seems like life is harder now, it's going to be all worth it. When you get to go to the college of your dreams (Ahem, TEXAS), make it to black belt, etc. you will realize that all the hard work paid off.
You also need to know that your Daddy & I are insanely proud of the girl you've become.
We realized this weekend the wide range of friends you have. You're so kind to everyone, and it doesn't matter what other people think of you or them, you treat everyone equal and have no problems being friends with them.
Please never change.
Everyone should be treated fairly & kindly no matter who they are.
Lastly, please know and always remember how much you are loved.
Not just by your Dad & I, but by your entire family.
Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc. all love you more than you could ever imagine.
Have faith and always know we are here for you any time for anything you ever need.
We love you baby girl!

I swear my head is still spinning from this extremely busy weekend we had!
We usually have things to do here & there, but this weekend it was literally non stop.
Friday night we went over to Eric's parents' house, where we got to catch up with his family & the cousins got to play together. We all played pool upstairs and the kids had the best time!
Saturday morning was Marathon Kids kickoff. Nike sponsored it this year, and it was awesome!
Bella got to see a bunch of Texas Longhorn's athletics including basketball, track, volleyball, etc. She was so excited & got to run her 1st lap at Mike A Myer's Stadium!
Mommy & Bella before her run on the track!
Our little Longhorn!
We are so proud of her!
Afterwards we ran some errands then went to the YMCA Halloween Party.
She got to ride, jump, swing, etc. for hours!
How fearless is this little girl?!
When we got home, she had a science project due.
So we learned how to make this thing below light up with just a 9 volt battery.
We also learned how to use Morse Code with the light.
At 1st it was unsuccessful, but then we finally figured it out & was so excited to see it light up!
Sunday Bella had 2 birthday parties to go to, so Eric & I ended up being her chauffeur all day long, in between football games! Ha!
Such a fun and extremely busy weekend.
Bring on the work week!

It's with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Bevo XIV.
He's been UT's mascot since 2004
and saw us through a National Championship along with many other huge games.
Bevo passed away in his sleep today & he will be missed.
Here's a video from the Longhorns in memoriam to Bevo XIV
We will miss you Bevo, thank you for all you did for the Texas Longhorns!

This was such a fun weekend and we are so proud of our Horns!!
We made the trek back up to Dallas Saturday morning.
We decided not to leave Friday night to miss all the Texas vs. OU traffic.
Saturday afternoon we met my sister & nephew at Chuys for lunch.
I was able to get Eric away from the Longhorn game long enough to drive there and sit down at a table right infront of a tv!
The Horns played amazingly & we're all so proud they beat OU!!
I now need to own this shirt...
Saturday night we went to one of my oldest friend's weddings.
Heather & I have known each other since elementary school & it was so amazing to watch her walk down the isle!
She was such a beautiful bride & we had the best time!
I was able to catch up with friends from high school I rarely get to see anymore.
These girls above have been great friends for almost 20 years now & even though I live 3 hours away from them, it's like nothing ever changed when we all get together.
Such a fun wedding!
Sunday we drove home, ran some errands, then decided to decorate for Halloween.
We bought a pretty big pumpkin and carved it Sunday night while I made my
Mom's Sausage and Mushroom Soup for dinner.
I also roasted pumpkin seeds!
Such a fun family & friends weekend!!

Last night was National Night Out and our neighborhood went ALL OUT!
After dinner, Eric, Bella, & I walked down to our neighborhood pool to check it out.
When we walked upon it we saw this
Our neighborhood was out in full force enjoying the beautiful weather and great music!
They had 2 bouncy houses, BBQ catered, and just a great time!
The Round Rock Police Department even showed up to give the kids goodies to keep them safe!
They all got glow stick necklaces, plus many other toys Bella played with all night long.
The band was awesome!
Thomas & Hall entertained us with great 90's music the adults and kids both enjoyed!
We had a great time seeing everyone and letting the kids play their little hearts out.
Definitely hope this becomes an annual event in our neighborhood.

Our house has been a
little lot of crazy lately.
Bella got her purple belt a few weeks ago and has been working hard trying to keep moving up including working on her dad!
They had parent participation last week.
I was able to join on the 1st practice and Daddy joined the 2nd.
It was fun but serious work for parents too!
Nice workout in.
We've been family bike riding quite a bit lately.
Sundays are our long rides, we usually go around 4 or so miles together.
We inevitably run into friends and get to catch up a little and let Bella play in the process.
Always a great time, especially with the cooler weather we got this weekend!
This past weekend I headed home to spend a girl's day with my sister.
We had a lot of these...
Along with massages, facials, wraps, etc.
It was a great time getting to spend with just the 2 of us!
Sunday we did a lot of running around before I made my famous
They were amazing!!
Then it was off to the bike riding.
Tonight we are heading to our neighborhood National Night Out party.
Bella's so excited, we're a little hesitant to go, but overall I'm sure it'll be a great evening!

I'll be the 1st to admit, I haven't jumped on the booties bandwagon... yet...
Then all of a sudden I was online looking around and found these beauties and had to have them.
And then these right beside them...
And I was in love!
Give me a pair of skinny jeans, over sized sweater and either pair of those and I'm set for a cute Fall day. Granted we haven't actually hit Fall here yet... (We keep hearing a "cold front" is coming, bringing us down to the high 80's soon!) but still a girl can dream.
Now these little beauties are amazing, but so is the price!
Flippin adorable, but at $395.00 they should be!
I think for this season I'll stick to a better priced version to make sure I actually wear them!
What's your favorite pair of booties for the Fall?
